User Data Deletion Request – IndiaMach

At IndiaMach, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your account or request removal of your personal information, you can do so at any time.

This page explains how to request deletion, what data will be deleted, and what data may be retained as required by law.

1. What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request data deletion, IndiaMach will permanently erase:

• Your user account

• Profile information (name, email, phone, company details)

• Saved searches, preferences, wishlist

• Chat history (buyer–seller messages)

• Uploaded images, documents, and listings

• Any stored feedback or reviews

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

2. What Data May Be Retained (Legal & Compliance)?

Some information may be temporarily retained for:

• Fraud prevention

• Legal compliance

• Security and audit requirements

• Transaction verification (for completed deals)

Examples:

• Payment invoices (if any)

• Fraud or misuse records

• GST or regulatory documents (if applicable)

This retained data is not used for marketing or advertising.

3. How to Request Deletion of Your Data

You can request deletion through any of the methods below:

Option 1: Submit an Email Request

Email us at:

Use the subject line: “Request to Delete My Data – IndiaMach”

Include the following:

• Your full name

• Registered email ID

• Registered phone number

• Reason (optional)

Option 2: In-App / Website Request

(Enable when available)

Go to:
Account Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account

Option 3: Contact Support

If you cannot access your account, contact us:

4. Verification Process

For your security, we may ask to verify:

• Email OTP

• Mobile OTP

• Identity proof (in case of suspicious requests)

Deletion will begin only after verification.

5. Processing Timeline

We will delete your data within:

7–14 business days
(depending on account activity and verification requirements).

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

6. Important Notes

• After deletion, you cannot restore your account.

• You can create a new account anytime.

• Any active listings will be removed permanently.

• Data backups may take up to 30–60 days to fully purge (industry standard).

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
